Avenged Sevenfold Releasing Digital Live Album on 12/8

Avenged Sevenfold will release an acoustic album, Live At The Grammy Museum, December 8th. The performance was recorded on October 19th at the Clive Davis Theater in Los Angeles. A portion of the proceeds from the digital-only release will benefit the education initiatives of the Grammy Museum, which seek to inspire youth via the enduring qualities and cultural significance of music. The band members stated that part of the reason for the live set’s release was that they were “excited about (their) Grammy nomination.” The quintet has been nominated for a Grammy for Best Rock Song for “The Stage,” the title track from their latest studio LP. It’s the first-ever Grammy nod for the Southern California-based group.  The band will release a deluxe edition of The Stage on December 22nd. The new version will feature seven additional studio songs plus four previously unreleased live tracks recorded during recent shows at the O2 Arena in London. Avenged Sevenfold recently confirmed the details of an early 2018 North American headlining tour with Breaking Benjamin and Bullet For My Valentine. The trek will begin on January 12th in Nashville with shows booked so far through February 11th in Fargo, North Dakota.
